Broadband Access
Broadband over power line (BPL) is a low-cost, scalable, secure broadband power
line access technology that deploys the electricity grid to run high speed broadband
applications.
Ethernet over Coax
Ethernet over Coax (EoC) is designed to deliver Ethernet Data service over pre-exiting
coaxial cables, take advantage of existing CATV networks to provide network services,
thus minimizing installation cost and ensuring optimal performance.
BiPAC 2110
EoC End-Point Unit
• 200Mbps physical connection bandwidth
• 1x 10 / 100 Mbps Ethernet port
• Perform coaxial cable to Ethernet conversion
BiPAC 2310
EoC Head-End Unit
• 200Mbps physical connection bandwidth
• 2x 10 / 100 Mbps Ethernet ports
• 1x coaxial cable interface 75 Ohm F connector
• Up to 128 MACs table size
• Up to 32 direct CATV connections
• DES and 3DES encryption
BiPAC 2104
BPL End-Point Unit with Noise
Filtering Power Socket
• AC pass-through power socket with noise
filtering
• 200Mbps physical data rates over existing
power lines
• 10 / 100 Mbps Ethernet port x1
• Maps Ethernet QoS to Power line QoS using
VLAN priority
The head-end unit can automatically
deliver the broadband connection
throughout the whole building via
the electrical wiring. It enables
service providers to offer high-speed
broadband access to business
and residential customers in multi-
dwelling units (MDUs) or buildings.

Enable cable
operators to migrate
their television
services to all digital
inside their MDUs
(Multi Dwelling Units)
over coaxial cable
infrastructures.
Uses existing coax
wires and splitters, in
parallel with existing
RF video broadcast
services. For end
users, it’s easy to
setup the home
networking.
End users can create high speed
Internet connection by BPL end-point
devices.
